Find answers to your questions about GSU Library services during the COVID-19 pandemic below:

Is the Library open?

For the safety of our users and staff, the physical library is closed and unavailable for use until further notice from the university. However, the library is accessible 24/7 through the library website, or as indicated below.

Can I still get help from a librarian?

Our librarians are working remotely and eager to help with your research needs! You can contact them via email or chat (look for the Live Chat button on our homepage). Live Chat is available Monday-Thursday: 10:00am -7:00pm, Friday: 11:00am-3:00pm.

For in-depth research help, contact the librarian for your major/discipline by finding them in this directory.

Does the library have online resources I can use from home?

GSU library has subscriptions to dozens of online databases containing hundreds of ebooks and millions of journal and newspaper articles, as well as collections of videos, images, maps, and more! You can search for these resources in our online catalog or search in specific databases, and as always you can email our librarians for help.
