Q. I returned my books, but I'm still getting notices about them, why is that?
Overdue notices are generated automatically by our system, so you may occasionally receive notices from the library after you have returned your items. We apologize for any inconvenience, and you can feel free to disregard such notices. We are not charging fines at this time, so you don't need to worry about any late fee charges being added to your library account.
Please note that due to the pandemic, it may take over a week for us to get your items checked-in. Our staff are on campus only a couple of days a week, and items returned to the book drops or by mail are quarantined for up to a week in order to decontaminate any possible COVID virus. We do this to protect our employees and their families, in addition to protecting the next person to check the items out.
