How to Find a Journal

Answer

You can easily browse journals using the Library Catalog.

Finding a Journal

Open the Library Catalog and sign in with your GSU username and password (do not include @student.govst.edu in the username).

Once you’re in the catalog, navigate to the task bar near the top and click on “Journal Search”. This will allow you to search and browse all the journals accessible through the Library.

After you’ve selected “Journal Search” you have the options of either entering a title or ISSN into the search bar to look for a specific journal or to browse the journals by category using the toggles in the left-hand sidebar.

When you’ve selected a category you can browse all the journals within the category. When you find a journal you’d like to access, click on the journal name to bring up more information and the availability options.

Once you’ve pulled up the journal’s information, scroll down to where it says “View Online” under this heading will be links you can use to access the journal.
