Standard Precautions, Universal Precautions, Bloodborne Pathogens: all refer to the OSHA and CDC infection control standards.  A training module is available on the Web using the Citi training platform.  Please follow these instructions: 

Step One 

Go to the url below 

https://about.citiprogram.org/ 

 Click on REGISTER and create an account. 

 Select your organization affiliation – Governors State University 

 Then follow all steps to create a user id and password. 

  Step Two 

  Login with the credentials you just created.

  You will have to click on the “Add a Course or Update Learner Groups” after logging in. If you do not see it, go to the url:

 Step Three 

Create your own profile. Under Course select BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS.

There are 5 parts to this course and Universal Precautions is the 4th one. You will have to complete all 3 previous courses to get to the Universal precautions. 2 of them do not have a quiz, and one does which is very basic.
