How do I find full-text articles?

Answer

Full-Text Articles in the Catalog

Most of the peer-reviewed articles available through GovState Library have full text availability. To access the text, click on the article title in the search results to open the catalog entry. Navigate to "View Online" and under "Full text availability" there should be one or more links to databases where the full text of that article is available. Click on the link to view the article.

Full-Text Articles in Databases

In a database, you can often narrow your results to just full text availability in two ways. Using the "advanced search" function in a database, there might be an option to limit your results to just full text articles. Click the checkbox to select that option.

The other way to narrow to just full text availability in is the search results. Next to the search results there should be a header that says "Refine Results" or something similar. Under that header there should be a checkbox for "Full Text". Select that checkbox to narrow your results.

After selecting this option, you can then access the full text of these articles by clicking either "PDF Full Text" or "HTML Full Text"
